perfecting your “Elevator Pitch”. First impressions in front of
clients/customers, job interviews or at a networking event can make the
difference in closing the deal. This transformative training course will teach
you how to stretch beyond your current communication style and build a
passion-based elevator pitch presentation.
Power of Positive Thinking
The Power of Positive Thinking is designed to assist
participants in enhancing their professional and personal relationships, through
believing in themselves and in everything that they do from a paradigm of
positive action. This course is designed to provide participants with strategies
to reach their goals and accept their individual needs, strengths, and
challenges for success in any type of organization or workplace setting.
Participants will engage in an interactive, hands-on, transformative session for
achieving success in the workplace and beyond.
Listening
Skills
One of the most important skills that is often overlooked
is effective listening. We all think we are listening, but most often we are
simply hearing and waiting to speak. This is designed to provide participants
with listening techniques to develop professional and personal confidence and
communicate at an exceptional level. Participants will demonstrate effective
techniques through assessment data, case studies and role playing activities.
Exceptional Networking
Do you know how to work the room? Job Interview; Office
Meeting; Social Event; Conference or an Informal Work Gathering. Exceptional
Networking provides participants with the skills needed to move beyond “passing
out business cards” to leveraging and maximizing personal, professional and
organizational relationships.
Through hands-on exercises and expert discussions, participants will practice
using the tools needed to maximize and maintain relationships at all levels in a
variety of organizational settings.
Cultural Maturity Institute
Neuroscientists and Geneticists say, as members of the
human race, we all are virtually the same. We all are virtually identical to one
another at our genetic level (99.99%), however, the 0.01% (1/100 of 1%) accounts
for a significant amount of our differences, if we examine how we think, look
and behave with one another. This institute will provide individuals and groups
the opportunity to explore Cultural Maturity. What drives how we value and
acknowledge differences and why? Participants will explore their knowledge,
understanding and behavioral outcomes, as well as the importance of personal
survival and success to building and sustaining relationships of significance.
Overcoming the “Fear” of the
Elevator Pitch
According to the Guinness Book of Records, when asked,
“What are your top ten fears?" overwhelmingly, people list “Public Speaking” as
number #1 over heights, illness or insects and claustrophobia. Using the
storytelling method, participants engage in a personal journey to develop their
presentation style through positive energy dynamics and practice, feedback
loops, coaching, and videotape analysis.
Conflict Management
If you have two or more individuals, conflict will happen.
Few of us like conflict, but Albert Einstein said ”You cannot solve a problem at
the same level in which it was created.” However, many individuals and
organizations spend enormous amounts of energy, time and resources recreating
conflict over and over again, never to reach an effective resolution. Conflict
Management is designed to assist individuals and organizations with eliminating
the revolving cycle of conflict. This course helps individuals and groups
develop an understanding and empathy for working through interpersonal and
organizational conflict. Also, participants will develop techniques and tools to
proactively eliminate, resolve or mediate effective resolutions.
